This video is developed by NPI EXPAND Ethiopia, a USAID-funded project aimed at improving the quality of health service in primary health care in Ethiopia through capable local implementing partners. The video highlights NPI EXPAND social accountability interventions in Ethiopia that promote community participation to take action and ownership over their health and hold the service provide accountable for their action. The video narrates improvements in health worker behavior, availability of essential medicines, and improvement in health infrastructure in the health sector that have been achieved by the project over the last years.
