Dr. Isseu DIOP TOURE specializes in Public Health and International Development. She has held various positions at the national and international levels: Chief Medical District Officer, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Division of Maternal and Child Health, First Medical Expert in Reproductive Health recruited by the Health Direction of USAID Senegal, Focal Point for Family and Reproductive Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) Office in Senegal and then Advisor at the WHO Regional Office, Director of FHI360’s Country Office in Senegal and finally, Head of Abt Associates’ Sustaining Health Outcome through the Private Sector (SHOPS Plus) Project in Senegal.
This background and the positions held have allowed Dr. Isseu DIOP TOURE to develop capacities in Project Management, Strategic Planning, Health System Strengthening, and Monitoring and Evaluation in the areas of Maternal and Child Health, Adolescent Health, Family Planning, HIV/AIDS and Gender-Based Violence in Africa and to have a good knowledge of USAID development programs and procedures and of the United Nations.
